I sleep well at night. People do walk down the aisle regularly and bump into me, but I can still get an hour of sleep at a time, which makes the flight go by quickly. Around half past seven Dutch time, the plane lands at Schiphol—forty-five minutes ahead of schedule. At the baggage claim, I say goodbye to my fellow travelers and head home. The vacation is over.
