Just before entering Goulimine, we leave the main road to visit a sulfur bath in Aibanou. We can swim here, but men and women are strictly separated. This means the two bathhouses are 200 meters apart, separated by the road. The water is pleasantly warm, and the sulfur smell isn’t too bad. It’s basically just a swimming pool. In the water, we quickly make contact with Moroccan youths. In a somewhat difficult conversation due to the language barrier, they tell us which Moroccan players play for Ajax and how they are related to them (cousins, second cousins, etc.). I take a photo of the pool. When I show the digital photo, they insist on a group picture with everyone in it. Using gestures, they ask if I can send them the photo.
