The last stop is at a cocoa plantation. To get there, we have to cross water several times. One by one, the cars drive through. All the vehicles make it through without trouble. From the river, we walk to the old waterwheel. Along the way, it’s explained how cocoa, papaya, and mango grow. We also get to taste the cocoa fruit, suck on sugarcane, and smell coconut. On the way back to the boat, we stop at the coast. This side doesn’t have the most beautiful beaches of Tobago, but it’s nice to see the blue seawater waves roll onto the shore. From one of the cars, a bottle of rum appears — surprise! Everyone gets a splash of rum with cola. A fun ending to a great excursion.
