I jump into the pool where dolphins Alex and Pepe are already waiting for me. The male and female dolphins swim by curiously. It feels very special to touch a dolphin. On command, these intelligent animals perform tricks. I'm the first to try the foot-push. While I float in the water, the dolphins swim up behind me and push against my feet. They push just hard enough to lift me out of the water. A triumphant feeling. I also hold onto their fins as they pull me through the water. Marlon explains how the dolphins communicate, how they hear, and how to tell males from females. The dolphins swim under me, flap their fins, and dance in front of me. They also perform impressive jumps.
