Travel around Cuba

The man, a guard of the caves, knows a restaurant about 1½ kilometers away. It’s his “sister’s” restaurant. He’ll take us there, but first needs to change clothes. Off comes his uniform, and he puts on a T-shirt. A motorbike goes ahead to announce our arrival. As we walk the other way past the hotel, Abel comes to ask where we’re going. He’s keeping a close eye on us. Abel talks to our restaurant guide to find out where he’s taking us and whether it’s safe. The guide, in turn, doesn’t seem entirely happy and checks whether Abel might be police. Abel doesn’t seem pleased with our plan but doesn’t forbid it. The house is a 20-minute walk away. The living room has been converted into a dining area for the occasion. Abel advises us not to drink any water. The food is at our own risk.
