Guatemala - Relaxing nicely in the hammock

Beep – beep – beep. At half past three, the alarm goes off. I load my luggage onto the bus for the final ride to Guatemala City. At the airport, I say goodbye to Erik. He’s flying on to Colombia. I check in my luggage and receive my boarding passes for Houston and Amsterdam. At six thirty, I take off for the United States. Shortly after takeoff, I quickly fall asleep. The early mornings over the past few days have not been good for my sleep. In the U.S., I have a long layover. I order some food and later something to drink. Six hours later, I board again for my flight to Amsterdam.
