Jamaica > Extra baggage check

According to the revised flight schedule, my flight was supposed to land at Schiphol around six o’clock. Due to all the delays, I don’t land until a quarter to eight on the Polderbaan. The plane doesn’t reach the gate. Here too, I am transported by bus. However, there is only one bus available. It takes some time before a second bus arrives. It’s cold at seven degrees at the Dutch airport. Fortunately, it’s warmer in the arrivals hall. I pass through customs and collect my travel bag. I say goodbye to my fellow travelers. Before I can go through customs, all the luggage from my flight is subjected to additional checks—the one hundred percent control for flights from the Caribbean. My suitcase doesn’t need to be opened. I head home.
