Mexico > By Train Back Home

I doze off a few times during the night but never really get a proper night’s sleep. I don’t mind when the cabin lights come back on for breakfast. A somewhat soggy bread roll is served. Around seven o’clock, we land back on Dutch soil. When I arrive at the baggage carousel, the luggage hasn’t arrived yet. In the meantime, I say goodbye to my fellow travelers. By the time the luggage appears on the belt, my train has just departed. I take my time walking to the platform and travel home on the next train.
