Zanzibar - At the northernmost point of Zanzibar

Just after midnight, I take off for the second time, this time heading toward Amsterdam. I have a window seat. I press my little pillow against the window and am almost asleep already. Still, I wait a bit for the meal service. I choose the vegetarian option. I’m not very hungry. I eat the rice and the dessert, then close my eyes. I fall asleep. Although I wake up several times during the night, I sleep surprisingly well. I don’t think I’ve ever slept this long on board before. When the cabin lights come back on, there’s still an hour and a half of flying left. By then, I’ve been in the air for seven and a half hours. Breakfast consists of a soggy roll with egg. It doesn’t have much flavor. Is it just me, because I’m not hungry, or is the roll simply not good? Looking around me, the second option seems more likely. At a quarter past seven, the plane lands on the Polderbaan. This means about another ten minutes of taxiing to Schiphol. Outside, it’s five degrees. That will take some getting used to again.
