Namibia - A zebra

Last night I slept worse than on the outbound flight, but I still managed to get a few hours of sleep. At 6:30 a.m., we land at Heathrow Airport. During the flight, we managed to make up a little of the delay, which is fortunate because we have a connection of less than an hour and a half. Even so, the transfer time is just enough. The long line for hand luggage takes a particularly long time. At the gate, we are transported to the plane by bus. Clearly, this was not planned. The plane is parked at the jet bridge, and the driver has to honk a few times to get the rear door of the aircraft open. Due to all this delay, we depart a little later toward Amsterdam. Three quarters of an hour later, we land at Schiphol. Here, we have to wait a bit at the baggage claim before the luggage arrives (typical Schiphol). Once all the luggage is unloaded onto the belt, it turns out that Theo’s baggage still hasn’t arrived. The giraffes belonging to Sander and Susan haven’t arrived either. The luggage will be sent on separately. At 11:30 a.m., we are picked up outside and drive home.
