Last night there was a clearly audible party on the terrace next to the room we had before. After the music stopped, a large group of people kept singing. There was also the occasional sound of glass clinking from falling bottles. Our street wasn’t completely quiet either. Still, this room was much better than the previous one. At half past seven, we check out of the hotel. Since the breakfast buffet isn’t open yet, we are given a sandwich to take with us. The parking lot turns out to be locked with a padlock. What now? Luckily, the receptionist has a key. Someone walks with us to open the gate. One more car has arrived, but with a bit of maneuvering, we manage to get our car out of the parking spot. For the last time, we drive through the old city. Then we set course for the airport. Exactly at eight o’clock, the agreed time, we arrive at the airport. A few minutes later, the car rental employee arrives. There are no problems with the car and we hand over the keys. In the departure hall, there is a relatively short line for the flight to Amsterdam.
There are only two people ahead of us. The passport control and hand luggage check also go smoothly. Around half past nine, we see our plane arrive. It’s a nice sight to see how much activity surrounds such a plane and how many people are involved. The luggage is unloaded, and the new luggage is loaded again. Shortly after ten, we can board. Flight TK7860 takes off heading for Amsterdam. Below us, Antalya becomes smaller.
