Luxembourg - Tunnel tent at the campsite

From inside the sleeping bag, I hear the rain hitting the tent roof. It doesn’t bode well for today. We have breakfast in the tent, read a newspaper, and do a puzzle. Wouter and Carline are elsewhere on the campsite, playing with friends in a caravan. Occasionally the weather clears a bit, and it slowly dries up. After lunch, we take a walk from the campsite, following the railway through the woods. It’s a steep climb to reach the other side of the hill, arriving at the village of Kautenbach itself. In a local small hotel, we order a beer. This hotel, like the campsite, is run by Dutch people, so the main language spoken is Dutch. After the break, we walk back to the campsite along the regular road. In the evening, after dinner, we play a game of cards and then go to bed.
